Questions about this course
Which SQL will I learn in this course?
You practise on SQLite inside your browser. The core skills, such as SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries and window functions, work in MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server too. Date functions and some advanced syntax differ between databases.
Can I learn SQL in Hindi?
Yes. Every lesson explanation and practice task is available in English, Hindi and Hinglish. SQL keywords such as SELECT and JOIN stay in English, as they do in every database.
Do I need to install a database?
No. A sample shop database with customers, products, orders, order items and employees runs in your browser. After the first visit, SQL practice can even work offline.
Is SQL useful if I already know Excel?
Yes. SQL does in one query what often takes many Excel filters, pivots and lookups, and it handles far more rows than a worksheet. Excel and SQL together make a strong base for MIS and analyst work.
How long does the SQL course take?
The lessons are planned at about 7 to 10 minutes each, roughly four and a half hours of reading and practice in total, plus the final test. You can learn at your own pace.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Complete all 32 lessons, pass the 20-question final test with 70% or more, and download your Excel Keys certificate as a PDF or image. It recognises self-paced completion and is not an accredited qualification.
